Chris Pratt is going to be kicking even more ass in theaters very soon, this time as a cowboy, a ninja, and a viking, all in the same movie.

According to Collider, Chris Pratt will star in Universal's Cowboy Ninja Viking, a movie adaptation of the graphic novel by A. J. Lieberman.

Cowboy Ninja Viking revolves around an assassin, Duncan (Chris Pratt), who works for a secret government program. Oh, and did we mention he has Multiple Personality Disorder and acts as cowboy, ninja and viking?

The government program is made up of Multiple Personality Disorder patients, referred to as Triplets. The story picks up with Duncan escaping and going after the billionaire who's behind it all.

According to Deadline, in the script the three personalities actually manifest themselves as three different people, so it's possible that the movie could actually make use of three actors. It's still not clear how the director will want to visualize this though, and it could end up just being Pratt playing all three roles. I mean who wouldn't want to see him as a cowboy, ninja and viking?

The movie was evidently in development a few years ago, but Disney scrapped it when they considered it to be too edgy. Universal Studios then picked up the project after Disney abandoned it.

This is yet another movie we can look forward to seeing Chris Pratt in after his success in Guardians of the Galaxy this summer. He's currently wrapping up with Parks and Recreation's final season, but he's also set to star in Jurassic World next summer and has a commitment to the Marvel universe with Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and beyond. With the huge success of Guardians of the Galaxy, Pratt has definitely proven himself as a bankable action star, and Cowboy Ninja Viking sounds like a perfect crazy, fun genre project like Guardians for him to try next, at least until the eventual Bert Macklin movie.
