Kim Kardashian sent a tweet out supporting President Obama the night before Election Day. The only problem is he isn’t up for re-election.
She confused a lot people who think she really believes President Obama is on the ballot today with the tweet, "I'm standing w Obama in the midterm election 2morrow! Find out what u need to cast ur ballot."
It is possible the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was simply encouraging her 25 million followers to vote for the Democratic ticket, but she did not clarify this following her initial tweet, USA Today reports.
Meanwhile, Kardashian’s husband, Kanye West, let his fans know that he and his wife met with President Obama a couple of weeks ago.
“Me and my wife met with President Obama two weeks ago,” he tweeted Tuesday.
Back in 2011, the Michelle Obama famously said that her husband doesn’t approve of their daughters, Sasha and Malia, watching Kardashian’s family’s E! reality show.
“Barack really thinks some of the Kardashians – when they watch that stuff – he doesn’t like that as much,” she said. “If they’re learning the right lessons, like, that was crazy, then I’m like, okay.”
President Obama himself expressed his disdain for the Yeezus rapper back in 2009, calling him a “jackass.”
