A Fox News host accidentally let the F-bomb slip in the middle of introducing her guest, Mike Huckabee, who is a former governor of Arkansas.
The Daily Mail reported that while Megyn Kelly was able to say Huckabee’s name right the first time, when she was reading his show’s title, which is the same as his name, she mispronounced the name as ‘F***abee’ instead of his actual name. Whoops!
Huckabee even managed a smile at the error but they both moved on from the incident extremely well.
Us Weekly reported that Kelly smoothly slid past the remark after correcting herself, but she later mentioned Twitter was in an uproar.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, one came “from some nice man named Sean who said, ‘Megyn, you’re a delight to watch and gave a stoic performance after your slip-up with Governor Huckabee’s name.’”
She also mentioned it on the program while discussing Valerie Jarrett, an adviser for the White House. Kelly reportedly said, “They say she is not above keeping a ‘blank’ list- you know, starts with an ‘s.’ I’ve already sworn once on the program, so I don’t even know why I am bothering.”
