Lucasfilm and Disney have been very quiet about the Star Wars spin-offs, only letting us know who is writing and directing the first two. But the plot of Gareth Edwards’ film may have slipped out.

The alleged plot was posted by Slashfilm, the same site that correctly reported on Disney’s plans for the Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser this week. Its sources say that the Edwards film, written by Gary Whitta, will focus on the Death Star plans and how they were stolen before A New Hope.

Slashfilm’s sources say that the film won’t center on the Rebellion, but a team of bounty hunters who get together to steal the plans. This could be a Star Wars-meets-Ocean's Eleven movie by the sound of it. Boba Fett might be involved, but might also not be involved. Also, the Millennium Falcon, or at least a ship of the same model, will be involved. Han Solo isn’t in it, though.

Lastly, a main character in this movie is supposed to be one introduced in The Force Awakens.

So far, all we officially know about Edwards’ movie is that it will be released on Dec. 16, 2016, a year after The Force Awakens. Until Disney says anything, this Slashfilm report is just a rumor.

Edwards is coming off one of this summer’s biggest hits, Warner Bros.’ Godzilla reboot.

The teaser for The Force Awakens will only be shown in 30 theaters on Friday and will run just 88 seconds.
