Giorgio Moroder, who helped develop the sound of disco, has experienced renewed interest in his work, particularly after getting to tell his life story in a track on Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories. Now, the 74-year-old is ready to complete the comeback with a solo album of his own.

The album, which is appropriately titled 74 is the New 24, will mix his unique style with vocals from Britney Spears, Sia and Kylie Minogue. Billboard reports that other modern stars featured on the album include Charli XCX, Mikky Ekko, Foxes and Matthew Koma.

Sony Music International will distribute the album, with RCA Records releasing it in the U.S.

“Sony/RCA constitutes one of the most groundbreaking histories in the world,” Moroder said today. “As my new label, I believe my record will live up to their history, but more importantly, pave the way for the future! Sony from here to eternity."

A video for the first single, the album’s title track, debuted on The Creators Project. It was directed by Jai Lewis, who will also join Moroder on a DJ tour next year.

In addition to his work on Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories, Moroder also remixed the Tony Bennett/Lady Gaga duet “I Can’t Give You Anything But Love.” He’s also an acclaimed film composer, winning three Oscars. He composed the score for Top Gun, Midnight Express, Scarface and Flashdance.
