The Hershey Company has announced the launch of a Reese’s peanut butter cup flavored spread on Wednesday, November 5.
According to the Huffington Post, Nutella had better move over and make some room for Reese’s peanut butter and chocolate spread.
The jar, costing $3.89, contains thirteen ounces of a spread that tastes “profoundly identical to that of a Reese’s cup.”
Marketwatch reports that Daren Russ, the Brand Manager for the Hershey Company, has said, “Since 1928, we have been delivering the perfect combination of chocolate and peanut butter. With the launch of Reese’s Spreads, we are honoring our great heritage and bringing consumers a new, but still perfect, way to enjoy the Reese’s brand.”
All of Hershey’s spreads, Reese’s , chocolate, chocolate with hazelnut, and chocolate with almond, are currently available nationwide.
Reese’S Spread already has great recipes that include Reese’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake Brownies and Reese’s Apple Wheels, but what other wonderful snacks and desserts can be created with the sweet spread? Tell us in the comments below!
