In a recent interview with MTV News, Leto spoke about the rumors but instead of answering if he would be in the universe, he quoted Brad Pitt from Fight Club.
"You know there's a film called Fight Club? You know what the first rule is, don't you? Enough said," Leto said when asked about the casting rumors. He did explain that it has been an incredible last year and that he is reading scripts but not word on which scripts those are.
Entertainment Wise reported that one of the early films in the D.C. lineup is Suicide Squad. The movie will feature a number of villains and casting rumors have ranged from Will Smith to Tom Hardy.
Suicide Squad is set to be released on August 5, 2016.
