Jennifer Lawrence might want to think about a music career now that she’s got a hit single on her resume. The Oscar winner’s song on the Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part I soundtrack is a hit in the U.K.

“The Hanging Tree,” which was written by James Newton Howard and The Lumineers, was released as a single across the Atlantic. There, the Official Charts Company says, it has reached No. 29 on the Top 40 singles chart, reports The BBC.

The lyrics to the song were written by Suzanne Collins, the author of the Hunger Games books.

According to the The Telegraph, Lawrence actually sang the song live on the set. It was one of the rare instances where Lawrence was actually nervous during filming, director Francis Lawrence, who is not related to Jennifer, said.

Francis Lawrence told Vulture that JLaw’s performance of the song was just what it needed.

“It should sound like a real girl singing,” Francis Lawrence said of the song. “So she did it. She did it all day. And she has a really cool sound to her voice. There’s kind of a raspy texture to it. So it was not terrible in the slightest.”

Mockingjay - Part I is expected to top the box office this Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
