Johnny Depp presented an award at the Hollywood Film Awards but something tipsy about the actor's behavior left the audience wondering just how much did Depp have to drink.
Depp stumbled on stage and his speech was slurred as he read part of the introduction for the award from a teleprompter.
US Magazine reported last year that Depp had confessed he wasn't much of a drinker anymore, unlike his Pirates of the Caribbean counterpart, Captain Jack Sparrow.
"I just decided that I pretty much got everything I could get out of it. I investigated wine and spirits thoroughly, and they certainly investigated me as well, and we found out that we got along beautifully, but maybe too well."
Depp was presenting the award for "Hollywood Documentary Award" to a key Hollywood talent manager, Shep Gordon, for the film Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon.
Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon is a documentary about the celebrity manager directed by Mike Myers.
Myers, who is best known for starring in the Austin Powers franchise, opened up about how Gordon was there for him after a dark time when his father passed away.
“I thought I was over the loss and I wasn’t, and a second wave of sadness hit me. That’s when I got the courage to call Shep and ask him if he was serious about inviting me to stay as his guest at his house in Maui," Myers said according to Variety. "I planned to stay for two weeks and stayed for two months.”
“It’s just one of those nights,” Depp managed to blurt out before he was cut off the air by CBS.
