Former child star Macaulay Culkin was reported dead on Saturday after his body was found in his apartment Friday. However, after rounds of questioning the legitimacy of the article, the report was proved false by Culkin himself on Twitter.
The rumors began when a parody site made to look like MSNBC reported the death, saying that police had found the 34-year-old after a wellness check requested from a family member.
Culkin took to his band's, The Pizza Underground, Twitter to not only show he was alive through text, but to post a picture of himself holding up a bottle of Delaware Punch along with the caption "we're on tour you silly people."

This is not the first time Culkin has been victimized by an Internet death hoax. According to Entertainment Tonight, news of Culkin's death circulated when a mock memorial page was created on Facebook for the star this past April. The page has since been taken down.
Culkin is famous for his childhood role in the first two Home Alone films. Along with performing with his band, a cover band of The Velvet Underground, he also starred in the live-action version of Richie Rich as the title character and later starred alongside Family Guy's Seth Green in 2003's Party Monsters.
