Margot Robbie is quickly becoming a top player for Warner Bros. After filming the studio’s Focus with Will Smith, then moving on to Tarzan, she is now up for a major role in Suicide Squad.

Back in October, it was reported that Robbie was being considered for Harley Quinn, a beloved DC character first introduced in Batman: The Animated Series as a sidekick for The Joker. Now, a source for Collider says that Robbie is set to play the character.

While Robbie has been in the business for awhile, the Australian actress really hit the big time last year with her juicy role as the Duchess of Long Island in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street. That has helped her to get more roles in major projects, including Focus, Tarzan and Z For Zachariah.

The Collider report comes just a couple of days after it was reported that Jared Leto is looking at playing The Joker in Suicide Squad. Considering the movie will mostly feature lesser-known villains from the DC universe, having a marquee villain like The Joker in the mix will go far to attracting audiences.

Suicide Squad will be released on Aug. 5, 2016, with Fury’s David Ayer directing.
