About two months after MMA fighter War Machine plead not guilty to allegedly beating his ex-girlfriend, porn star Christy Mack, in August, his brother has posted some statements on his behalf via his Twitter account.
War Machine (real name Jon Koppenhaver) plead not guilty on the 32 charges against him, including attempted murder.
According to Jezebel, he attempted suicide in jail about three weeks ago.
Through his Twitter account, his brother, Michael Koppenhaver, started posting poems and other statements he’s been writing in jail.
“I've had a killer headache and my hands/feet have felt kinda weird ever since, "lucky to be alive" they say, I still can't believe it,” he wrote about attempting to kill himself. “It was an extremely hard thing to bring myself to do, guard walks by every 30 mins, still unsure as to what brought him up again early, wasn't my time I guess.”
He added, “I'll be the first to say that I b-tched out way too prematurely. I'm sorry to all of my loved ones and supporters, this ordeal has just been hell on me.”
Mack has claimed that Koppenhaver showed up unexpected at her Las Vegas home and beat her up, leaving her with 18 broken bones. He claims he went there to propose, but saw her in bed with a friend of his, which caused the brutal attack.
