Selena Gomez has released an extremely personal new single called “The Heart Wants What it Wants,” which is obviously about her on-again, off-again Justin Bieber.

The song is the first new one off of her For You greatest hits compilation, which she’s been teasing this whole week until releasing it on Thursday morning.

On Twitter, she accompanied the video with the caption, “I have been waiting to share this with all of you...”

She starts off the video speaking emotionally about a troubled relationship that’s hurting her.

"When I was on stage and I was thinking of…I know him though, and I know that I know his heart, and I know what he wouldn't do to hurt me,” she says. "But I didn't realize that I'm feeling so confident and feeling so great about myself and then it [can] just be completely shattered by one thing," she continued, beginning to cry. "By something so stupid. But then you make me feel crazy, you make me feel like it's my fault. I was in pain."

Gomez then launches into the song, which tells a lot about her relationship with Bieber.

“Save your advice 'cause I won't hear / You might be right but I don't care / There's a million reasons why I should give you up / But the heart wants what it wants,” she sings.
