Cecily Strong doesn’t get to make as many topical jokes on Saturday Night Live as she used to since losing the Weekend Update co-anchor chair to Michael Che, but she’ll get to joke about politics soon again. She will host the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner next spring.

Strong was the Weekend Update co-anchor during Seth Meyers’ last episodes before he left to host Late Night and then shared the desk with Colin Jost. However, Lorne Michaels brought Che back to the SNL team over the summer. Strong is still on SNL and has been in more sketches since vacating Weekend Update.

She’ll have a lot to talk about with President Barack Obama, since she also grew up in the Chicago area. According to The Hill, her father, Bill Strong, also covered the Illinois state house for the Associated Press.

“Her political humor is sly and edgy, and it comes with a Chicago accent,” WHCA president Christi‎ Parsons wrote in a statement, reports TIME. “In the 82-year history of our dinner, she’ll be the fourth woman to serve in this role.”

The 2015 “nerd prom,” as the dinner has been nicknamed, is scheduled for April 25. Last year’s ceremony was hosted by Community’s Joel McHale.
