One of Europe’s most well known and wealthiest aristocrats, Spain’s Duchess of Alba, has died at the age of 88. She died of pneumonia at her home in Seville surrounded by loved ones.

The Duchess, who survived two husbands and shocked the world when she re-married a man 25 years her junior three years ago, holds the most titles out of any aristocrat in the world.

She leaves behind lavish estates and an impressive art collection, as well as six children, Today.com reports. She even owns Christopher Columbus’ first map of the Americas.

The Duchess of Alba is estimated to be worth $3.5 billion, and can trace noble her lineage back 17 generations.

The AP reports her full name was Maria del Rosario Cayetana Fitz-James Stuart y Silva and she held over 40 titles.

She was known for her high pitched voice and eccentric style of dress, with plastic surgery responsible for her noted look later in life. She was also known for her short, frizzy hair.
