Taylor Swift sent her “swifties” into an absolute frenzy this morning when her music video for her latest single “Blank Space” hit Yahoo, only to be taken down hours later as it was released earlier than planned.

Swift knows her infamous reputation for being a crazy ex-girlfriend, and parodies her stereotype in the video with model Sean O’ Pry, terrifying him by smashing his car with a golf club, cutting and burning his shirts, and of course, stabbing a butcher knife into a painting of him.

Director Joseph Kahn confirmed via Twitter the video was, in fact, mistakenly leaked by Yahoo, and told Mashable the video wasn’t supposed to premiere until Good Morning America on Tuesday morning. He asks Swift’s fans to “Let Taylor introduce it herself”, which Swift later did via Twitter as well.

“Blank Space” is the second single off of Swift’s all-pop album 1989, her fifth studio album which sold an impressive 1.287 million copies in its first week, making Swift the only artist ever to earn three separate million-selling debuts, following 2010’s “Speak Now” and 2012’s “Red”.
