Despite Frozen being extremely lucrative for Disney, the actress who voiced the younger version of Elsa was paid less than $1,000 for her part in the film.
Spencer Lacey Ganus, 15, only had a few lines as the teenage version of Elsa, but she was paid $926.20 even after the film went on to make over $1.2 billion on a modest $150 million budget.
According to TMZ, who points out she may need a better agent, her portion of that amount is .000077 percent.
There was another actress cast to play the younger Elsa, Eva Bella, and Idina Menzel famously played the adult Elsa and sings the hit theme song to the film, “Let It Go.”
Ganus has had small parts in other animated features, such as Ice Age and Happy Feet, Daily Mail reports.
Frozen has become the highest grossing animated film in history, surpassing Toy Story 3. “Let It Go” has become a successful chart topper in its own right.
