A number of female celebrities had nude photos leaked online as a result of an unfortunate hacking crime on their personal phone accounts. The images surfaced online on Sunday, but the source of the hack has not yet been confirmed.
As we previously reported, Apple confirmed that iCloud did not suffer a security breach which would allow hackers to gain access of private images. The company spent more than 40 hours investigating the crime.
