This weeks edition has action, intrigue and mystery plus a dash of comedy. Chappie is the story of a robot, who also happens to be a prodigy. The Gambler tells the tale of a college professor, who gets in over his head with a loan shark amidst the other numerous problems in his life. Paul Blart: Mail Cop 2 revisits the adorable security guard, this time on his way to a convention in Las Vegas where he inadvertently stumbles upon a heist and tries to stop it.

All three films have incredible A-list stars gracing their casts. In addition, each movie has its own style of telling its story and the actors/actresses do a phenomenal job conveying every emotion and laugh. Also, all three motion pictures are filled with secrets and trickery, but express them in vastly diverse ways.

Chappie stars Hugh Jackman and Sigourney Weaver. Directed by Neill Blomkamp, the film is presumed to be a feature version of Blomkamp's own 2004 short Tetra Vaal, with elements from the 2006 short Tempbot. It follows a gifted robot who was designed to feel as humans do. The trailer shows Chappie’s emotional journey of learning and essentially becoming human and the next step in the ladder of evolution. It opens in theaters on Friday, March 6, 2015.

The Gambler is a thriller "dramedy" starring Mark Whalberg, Jessica Lange and John Goodman. Wahlberg plays Jim Bennett, a college literature professor and high stakes gambler, who gets mixed up with a loan shark and his bodyguard. In addition, he’s having an affair with a student. The trailer illustrates Bennett’s carefree and dangerous lifestyle, which gets him in a heap of trouble. Lange’s performance as Bennett’s mother is spot-on as she tries to aid her son and help him out of the life and death situation he’s gotten himself into. It opens in theaters on Friday, December 19.

Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 is the sequel to the hilarious 2009 comedy. Reprising his role is the lovable Kevin James. This time out, we find Blart on his way to a security guard expo in Las Vegas. He’s taking his teenage daughter with him before she heads off to college. Unfortunately, while at the expo, Blart stumbles upon a major heist and tries to prevent it, making uproarious mistakes all through his quest. The trailer displays James’ unique brand of sidesplitting physical comedy as Blart uses his skills as a security guard to try to prevent the theft of every casino in Vegas. It opens in theaters on Friday, April 17, 2015.
