This week’s edition has loads of action, adventure and fantasy with a pinch of music thrown in for some melodic entertainment, amusement and reverie. Jurassic World is the long-awaited continuation of the popular trilogy set 22 years after the events of the original film, with yet another dinosaur park in existence. There are, of course, more deadly troubles to go along with it. Pan tells the story of the origins of the legendary Peter Pan and Pitch Perfect 2 has the winning, madcap acappella girl group entering an international competition that has never been won by an American group. All three movies, which boast well-loved plots, all contain enormous A-list celebrities, which is almost guaranteed to attract fans - and ticket sales.
Jurassic World is the fourth installment in the Jurassic Park film series. From executive producer Steven Spielberg, it is set 23 years after the 1993 original film. The island, Isla Nublar, now houses a fully-functional dinosaur park, but with visitors and revenue waning, a new attraction is developed. It backfires with deadly ramifications.
Starring big names including Chris Pratt, Judy Greer, Dallas Bryce Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio and BD Wong, the movie’s trailer illustrates the amazing, seemingly safe park full of eager visitors, but the new lethal attraction brings a new unforeseen danger to all on the island. It opens in theaters on Fri., June 12, 2015.

Pan is an action fantasy film that tells the story of origins of the boy who would become the renowned Peter Pan. Starring Hugh Jackman, Amanda Seyfried and Rooney Mara, the film follows the orphan as he’s transported to Neverland, where he discovers his destiny of becoming the beloved perennial young man. The movie’s trailer shows a young pre-villainous Hook and a dastardly Blackbeard and captures how Peter rises to become the beloved folk hero loved by all children. It opens in theaters on Fri., July 17, 2015.

Pitch Perfect 2 is the sequel to the original 2012 hit. Directed by and starring Elizabeth Banks, it also features Anna Kendrick, Alexis Knapp, Brittany Snow and Rebel Wilson, who return as their original characters with the additions of Hailee Steinfeld and Katey Segal. This time around, the a-cappella girl group enters an international singing competition that no American group has ever won. The motion picture’s trailer displays the girls practicing their harmonies as they work to defeat male and female acapella groups from all around the world in the ultimate singing battle. It opens in theaters on Fri., May 15, 2015.
