When there are rumors for weeks about the possible release of a trailer for a movie, it becomes clear just how hyped the fan community is for it. We previously reported the rumor that the Jurassic World trailer would premiere Thanksgiving week, and now Universal has confirmed that the trailer will debut this Thursday.

They did so in this excruciatingly short 20 second video which, as ridiculous as it sounds, is a trailer for the trailer, a trend becoming increasingly popular lately.

Though it's so short, we actually can get a few juicy details from this. We open on the Jurassic Park gates in a shot essentially recreated from the original movie. Then we have another scene that mirrors the original movie with the Gallimimus stampede, except this time it's part of an official park tour.

We then get a quick shot of these weird little ball vehicles, which seem to be a new way to get visitors around the park without being as directly exposed to the dinosaurs. We get two brief shots of Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt, and then it's over and we're left screaming in anticipation for the full thing.

In the shot of Bryce Dallas Howard though we can see a map of the park in the background which includes a giant "Restricted Area." This definitely seems like it will be important, possibly a section of the park with more dangerous dinosaurs that are not yet ready for the full park yet.

It's hard to really analyze 20 seconds of footage too much, but one takeaway from this is that it seems the new movie will be paying tribute to the original movie and invoking some of its imagery quite a bit, with two of the five shots in this trailer directly recreating scenes from the original movie.

Earlier this week a viral site for the movie premiered online with a countdown ending Thursday at 9PM. It was speculated that this would be when the trailer would premiere, but now we can say that for sure. In case you wanted to be even more hyped, it doesn't appear that the trailer will be some quick, 60 second teaser. On Friday it was reported by JurassicWorld.org that the trailer will be 2 1/2 minutes long. This is going to a full fledged trailer for the movie, and we have only four days to wait for it. Hold on to your butts.
