While Jeff Eastin’s White Collar recently started its last season, USA Network is keeping him in their good graces by renewing Gracepoint for a third season.
The series, produced by Fox Television Studios, centers on a group of undercover agents living in the same building while on their own cases in Southern California. The cast includes Aaron Tveit, Daniel Sunjata and Carmine Giovinazzo. Its second season averaged 2.6 million viewers with DVR viewing added.
“This season of Graceland took viewers on a wild ride with unexpected character twists, and a heart-stopping cliffhanger that left a lead character’s fate in question,” USA Network President Chris McCumber said in a statement. “Jeff Eastin and the talented ensemble cast deliver on all levels, and season three will undoubtedly continue to keep us on the edge of our seats.”
Gracepoint’s third season will run 13 episodes.
The series is quickly joining USA’s top-tier shows, especially as White Collar is ending. Suits, Royal Pains and Satisfaction have all been renewed for additional seasons.
USA is currently developing Mr. Robot with Christian Slater, Colony with Josh Holloway, Stanistan with Jennifer Carpenter and Queen of the South with Alice Braga.
