Noah Baumbach is back with another quirky comedy, this time reuniting him with Greenberg star Ben Stiller. The first trailer for While We’re Young has finally been released.
While We’re Young stars Stiller and Naomi Watts as a couple coming to terms with the fact that they’re not 25 any longer. As they see their friends have babies, they try to figure out their own place in life. They meet Star Wars actor Adam Driver and Amanda Seyfried, who play a couple in their 20s and decide to befriend them in a way to reconnect with their younger selves. Needless to say, it gets funny.
Baumbach is the Oscar-nominated filmmaker behind The Squid and the Whale, Greenberg and Margot at the Wedding. His previous film was Frances Ha, which starred Greta Gerwig and featured Driver in a small role.
While We’re Young was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival and was picked up by distributor A24. The film hits theaters on March 27.
Stiller’s next movie is Night at the Museum: The Secret of the Tomb, which opens on Dec. 19. Watts can be seen in Birdman and St. Vincent.
