Beyonce has released a surprise short film called Yours and Mine, which gives fans access behind-the-scenes of the videos that made up her surprise album Beyonce, which she dropped on us a year ago tomorrow. The short film commemorates that album.
She provides commentary throughout the film, which lasts just about 11 and a half minutes, giving us her deepest thoughts about fame – “there’s nothing real about it” - and turning her dreams into reality.
“When you're famous, no one looks at you as a human anymore. You become property of the public,” she says, E! Online reports.
"You can't put your finger on who I am. I can't put my finger on who I am,” she continued to say. “I am complicated. I grew up with a lot of conflict and dramas and I've been through a lot, just like everyone else.”
Beyonce goes on to discuss topics such as her upbringing and watching her mother, Tina Knowles, as a “people pleaser,” her views on feminism and of course, her marriage to Jay Z.
“The love I have for the music, my husband, for my child—it's something that will last far beyond my life,” she said.
