Bill Cosby’s daughter Evin has issued a statement, defending her father in the face of mounting sexual assault allegations against him. Her three-sentence statement follows a longer statement from her mother, Camille.

Evin, 38, sent a statement to Access Hollywood, which reads, “He is the FATHER you thought you knew. The Cosby Show was my today's tv reality show. Thank you. That's all I would like to say :).”

Evin also posted her mother’s statement on Facebook and she captioned it, “Love my mom.”

Camille said in her statement Monday night that her husband is “the man you thought you knew,” and slammed the media for giving his accusers a “pass.” She wrote, “The man I met and fell in love with, and whom I continue to love, is the man you all knew through his work.”

Meanwhile, TMZ reports that the Los Angeles County District Attorney has rejected the case of Judy Huth, the woman who claims Cosby assaulted her in 1974 at the Playboy Mansion. When she filed her civil lawsuit against Cosby earlier this month, she also filed a police report. However, the DA said that the statute of limitations is up.

Cosby has fought the lawsuit, saying that Huth tried to blackmail him in the past and tried to tell her story to tabloids 10 years ago.
