Say it isn’t so! Coldplay’s Chris Martin has revealed their seventh album A Head Full of Dreams will likely be their last.

During an interview on Thursday with BBC Radio’s Zane Lowe, Martin said he can’t say for certain they won’t ever do anything together as a band ever again, but this last studio effort feels like the “completion of something.”

He explained of the progress on the album that they’re “right in the middle of it.”

"It's our seventh thing and the way we look at it, it's like the last Harry Potter book,” he said, Huffington Post reports.

“That's not to say there won’t be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something. I have to think of it as the final thing we're doing. Otherwise we wouldn't put everything into it. Then we will go on tour."

There’s no denying Coldplay has had a wildly successful career, with hits like "Fix You," "Yellow," "Magic," "Speed of Sound" and "The Scientist." However, if the band is anything like Martin’s good friend Jay Z, we should be hearing more new music from them in years to come.
