There are a lot of bad movies, but, according to IMDb users, none are anywhere near as bad as Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas. The film currently holds the worst rating on the website.
Saving Christmas, which is about the former Growing Pains star trying to put the Christ back in Christmas, because apparently, Christ went somewhere and didn’t come back. “Putting the Christ back in Christmas” is even the tagline on the poster.
On IMDb, the film has a 1.3 rating out of 10, which gives it the worst rating. Somehow, there aren’t any movies with ratings between zero and one. Saving Christmas is now the No. 1 movie on the Bottom 100 chart.
Cameron has tried to fix the film’s terrible ratings online, starting a movement last month to get audiences to boost the Rotten Tomatoes score. However, that didn’t work and it currently has a zero percent fresh rating from critics. It has a 32 percent rating from moviegoers.
Saving Christmas is still playing in theaters. According to TheWrap, the film had a $2,486-per-theater average on its opening weekend last month and Samuel Goldwyn Films is planning to give it a wider release.
The film has grossed $2.5 million so far.
