Lionel Richie is currently planning a sequel to his best-selling country duets album Tuskegee. Back in April, he had announced that he was working on two brand new albums. The first album would focus on DJ's reworking his previously released hit singles and the second album would contain original music.
Now it seems as though Richie is changing that plan and working on a follow up to Tuskegee, Belfast Telegraph reported.
With the success of the first album, featuring the likes of Blake Shelton and Tim McGraw, it turns out that artists that weren't featured on the album are calling Richie and asking when they can record with him.
“Now, the artists I didn’t duet with first time around are calling asking why, so we’re lining them up for the second album," Richie explained.
Along with work on new music it was also announced that Richie would be heading back on tour including playing at some major festivals.
Daily Mail reported that Richie will also be playing Glastonbury in 2015. Richie will be 66 when he takes the headlining stage.
Glastonbury is known for featuring a variety of artists as headliners including The Rolling Stones and Dolly Parton.
