Madonna is working on a new album and is not happy that demos of her work have leaked. In posts on Instagram, she considered it “artistic rape.”

Late last month, a snippet of “Rebel Heart” leaked and Gary Oseary, Madonna’s manager, confirmed that it was genuine on Twitter. Oseary then asked the Material Girl’s fans to help them find the source of the leaks.

More than just that one song must has surfaced because the singer is clearly fuming over their release. In her first Instagram post on the subject, Madonna thanked her true fans for “not listening.” In another post a few hours later, Madonna expressed anger towards the people who leaked the demos from her upcoming album.

“Thank you for not listening! Thank you for your loyalty! Thank you for waiting and if you have heard please know they are unfinished demos stolen long ago and not ready to be presented to the world,” Madonna wrote in the first post.

She then added, “This is artistic rape!! These are early leaked demo's half of which wont even make it on my album the other half have changed and evolved. This is a form of terrorism. Wtf!!!! Why do people want to destroy artistic process??? Why steal? Why not give me the opportunity to finish and give you my very best?”

Someone within Madonna’s camp must have a hard time holding onto recordings and keeping from the reaching the public. Back in 2011, material from Madonna’s MDNA album leaked early, too. Madonna was also really angry then as well.

The new album hasn’t officially been announced yet, but previous Instagram pictures have confirmed that she’s working on a follow-up to MDNA.
