Hackers have been hard at work this year, with the biggest leak we’ve seen in history taking place earlier this year when they hacked into hundreds of celebrities’ iCloud accounts and exposed naked photos. Now they’ve hacked into Sony Pictures’ database and revealed what the actors in The Interview were paid.

Seth Rogen was paid $8.4 million for his role in the film, while his co-star, James Franco, was paid $6.5 million.

Variety reports this kind of corporate hacking is the most severe we’ve seen so far, and the FBI is investigating.

The hackers, who call themselves The Guardians of Peace, also revealed Kevin Federline, the ex-husband of Britney Spears, made $5,000 for making a cameo in the film.

The Interview comes out on Christmas Day. The hackers claim more internal information will slowly be revealed from Sony’s records.

The Telegraph reports given the nature of the film, it’s thought North Korea has ties to the hackers.

The film is a comedy with the plot centering on a planned assassination of their leader, Kim Jong Un. A spokesperson for North Korea's Foreign Ministry previously said the U.S. government will face "merciless" consequences if our government doesn’t take steps to stop the movie from being release.
