Robin Williams’ daughter, Zelda, is celebrating New Year’s with her boyfriend, Australian actor Jackson Heywood in Sydney.
The 25-year-old posted some photos documenting her time Down Under and shared a message presumably about still mourning her dad on Twitter on Christmas day.
“It can be hard to find happiness when you're sad, but it shouldn't be to find kindness,” she wrote. “Thank you to all those being kind this Christmas.”
E! Online reports she’s been documenting her stay in Australia by posting photos of some of its famous landmarks and animals, such as a wallaby.
She also wrote on Instagram, “2014 was, by all accounts, the most difficult year of my life, so here's to starting 2015 with your chin up, shoulders back and heart set on giving and receiving as much love as possible.”
After her father’s suicide in August, Zelda deleted her social media accounts after some internet trolls posted nasty comments.
His son, Zak Williams, has said their family is “acclimating to the new normal.”
