Selena Gomez has signed a new record deal with Interscope Records after her seven-year deal with Hollywood Records ended.
“The Heart Wants What it Wants” singer posted a photo of herself signing the contract over the weekend, showing fans just how excited she is to embark on this new professional venture.
“Guess who’s officially an Interscope artist #thisiswhatdreamsaremadeof,” she wrote.
MTV News reports Gomez’s new contract means she’s now label-mates with Lady Gaga, Lana Del Rey, Eminem and OneRepublic.
She’s been focused on music lately, following the release of her latest film Rudderless, posting photos of herself recording in the studio.
Earlier this month she told fans she’s going to be spending the “next 4 months” recording new music, writing “Even in my hotel rooms. You guys, I’m beyond excited for what’s next. #2015.”
Last month, Gomez released “The Heart Wants What it Wants” and confirmed on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show that it’s about her tumultuous relationship with Justin Bieber.
