As the fallout continues from the Sony Pictures hack, the attackers have ratcheted up the situation, threatening violence at theaters that show The Interview. It’s the first part of their plan to release a “Christmas gift” of data on Christmas Day.

Several files have already been released in a larger group named after Sony Pictures Entertainment CEO Michael Lynton. The file also came with a message warning moviegoers, notes Variety.

“The world will be full of fear. Remember the 11th of September 2001,” the message, which is filled with grammatical errors, reads. “We recommend you to keep yourself distant from the places at that time. (If your house is nearby, you’d better leave.) Whatever comes in the coming days is called by the greed of Sony Pictures Entertainment.”

It concludes, “All the world will denounce the SONY.”

Meanwhile, Reuters reports that a class action lawsuit was filed on Monday by two former SPE employees in California. They allege that Sony did not do enough to protect their personal data. They are seeking compensation for damages.

The Interview stars Seth Rogen and James Franco, who are assigned to assassinate Kim Jong Un, despite their lack of experience. It opens on Christmas Day and the premiere last week went off without issue.
