Authorities said that three people have been found shot to death in a home just outside of Denver on Wednesday.

The Denver Post reported that police found the victims after they received a call about a disturbance around 7:20 a.m.

"A call came in from a hysterical female who said there was a disturbance at the home and hung up immediately," Cmdr. Terrance O'Neill said.

O’Neil did not say what the relationship between each of the victims was and their identities have not yet been released.

Hours after the bodies were discovered a woman ran up to the house screaming that her sibling lived there.

Dozens of detectives are still investigating the scene and searching for clues as to what may have happened.

A suspect remains at large although the Associated Press noted that a man was seen leaving the residence in Westminster. Law enforcement officials are calling him a person of interest.

Police also said that they are looking for a black Jeep Wrangler.
