2014 featured many incredible movies from Boyhood to Guardians of the Galaxy but as the holiday movie season comes to a close, fans are looking forward to 2015 and what the movie industry has on deck for fans.
2015 will feature the continuation of the “comic book” film genre with movies like Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant Man coming out this year. Will Marvel be able to rule the box office for another year in a row? D.C. will not be releasing a comic book film until Batman v. Superman in March 25, 2016, so the competition is almost non-existent.
This year will not only be filled with comic book movies, it will also feature a return to the park that started a dinosaur franchise, Jurassic Park. This sequel to the popular film shows what happens when the park actually opens and features never before seen genetically created dinosaurs. Jurassic World will be released on June 12th.
If big franchises and comic book movies aren’t your thing, HBO will also be returning to the big screen with the film adaptation of Entourage and another real life adaptation of Peter Pan will be released this year.
