Taylor broke the news to Entertainment Weekly that she would be involved in the sequel to the 2001 comedy starring her husband Ben Stiller. Taylor did not give away any details about the film's plot or the status of her character.
“I can tell you that I’m involved, but that’s all I can say,” Taylor said. “I can tell you it’s happening, but I can’t tell you where Matilda’s at and where their relationship is at. It’s all top secret!”
The original Zoolander revolved around Stiller's Derek Zoolander, a male supermodel who finds himself caught up in the corrupt business of male modeling. The film grossed over $60 million during its time in theaters.
Stiller hinted at a few plot details for the sequel during an interview with Empire back in 2011.
“It’s ten years later and most of it is set in Europe…their lives have changed and they’re not really relevant anymore. It’s a new world for them." Stiller said.
There is currently no release date set for Zoolander 2.
