Jake Gyllenhaal won’t take over the role of Rick Flagg in Suicide Squad, but worry not, D.C. fans. Ben Affleck’s Batman is rumored to make an appearance in the film.

According to Forbes, Batman will show up in a scene that’s related to the Joker, played by Jared Leto. Other than that, there are no other details about Batman. Suicide Squad has yet to begin filming, after all.

Ben Affleck will first don the mantle of the caped crusader in Superman v. Batman: Dawn of Justice, which will be released in 2016. A standalone Batman film will supposedly be released several years after that.

Suicide Squad currently stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Jared Leto. Tom Hardy used to be in that lineup, but he exited the project last week. Warner Bros. sought Gyllenhaal for the part, but, as Variety reported, the Nightcrawler star wasn’t interested.

Directed by David Ayer, Suicide Squad follows a team of D.C. villains who take on black ops jobs for the U.S. government. Production will begin in April and it’s currently slated for a release date of Aug. 5, 2016.
