Just after John Legend scored a Golden Globe, rumors are swirling about the singer’s latest track and how it may end up nabbing an Oscar.

In a new interview with HuffPost Entertainment, legend discusses how he feels about his track, “Glory,” from the latest film Selma and how he’s disappointed that the movie was recently snubbed from the award ceremony.

“Nobody wants to feel like they’re not being gracious because we are all grateful, first of all, that I was nominated and Common was nominated and the film is nominated for Best Picture,” he said. “But I do feel a bit disappointed because Ava and David [Oyelowo] did Oscar-worthy work.”

“It’s truly a brilliant film, and David as the center of the film did such a masterful job capturing Dr. King’s spirit, and I thought it was Oscar-worthy work,” he added. “It’s unfortunate that they weren’t recognized for it.”

Recently it was released that the singer is to perform at this year’s Oscars along with Rita Ora, .Common and Adam Levine.
