Joseph Gordon-Levitt has secretly married his girlfriend Tasha McCauley, his rep has confirmed. The couple tied the knot on Dec. 20.
Gordon-Levitt and McCauley, who was the Director of Business Development for Geosim and now the co-founder and CEO of a robotics company called Fellow Robot, kept their relationship low-key even before the wedding. They’ve never posed for a red carpet photo together or any sort of press photo altogether.
The Don Jon star said last year, “I have a girlfriend but I tend not to really like to talk about it in public. The girl that I'm with, she really doesn't want to be a part of that."
The couple got married at their home, likely in front of close friends and family, People first reported.
McCauley’s company is based in Silicon Valley, California, at the NASA Research Park. Gordon-Levitt will portray whistleblower Edward Snowden in Oliver Stone’s upcoming film. The film will be based off of The Snowden Files: The Inside Story of the World’s Most Wanted Man by Luke Harding and Time of the Octopus by Anatoly Kucherena.
