While fans wait for his newest album, Lil Wayne isn’t disappointing his fans with his latest mix tape.

According to Rolling Stone, Weezy’s most recent mix tape, Sorry 4 the Wait 2 is giving the rapper more creative freedom.

The fifth installment of Tha Carter series has been delayed for some time now due to disagreements with his label, Young Money.

However, Sorry 4 the Wait 2 gives the “Got Money” rapper a new style as he raps over songs like “Drunk in Love” by Beyonce, Rae Sremmurd’s “No Type,” and iLoveMakonnen’s “Maneuvering.”

Also on the mix tape are guests including 2 Chainz, Christina Milian, Mack Maine, Shanell and Drake.

The album artwork also gives fans an insight as to how Weezy feels about his relationship with Young Money. Last month, he said that he wanted to drop off of the label stating, “I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain’t that easy.”

“I am a prisoner and so is my creativity.”

The mix tape’s cover art features what looks like what is the rapper’s arm with a handcuff around the wrist. The other wrist is free which could symbolize that Lil Wayne is almost free from his issues with the label.

Tha Carter V was set to release originally in October 2013 but hasn’t released after several postponements in 2014. On December 9, 2014, the album was again supposed to drop but ended up not releasing.

No new release dates have been confirmed as of now.
