Lil Wayne has released his mixtape Sorry 4 The Wait 2 after revealing tensions at his YMCMB label with its founder, Birdman, recently.

He released 17 songs for his disappointed fans after his December bombshell that he wanted “off” the label. He tweeted at the time that they “refuse” to release Tha Carter V.

There’s obviously still tensions, with Wayne’s girlfriend Christina Milian even admitting recently things are still “difficult” between him and the label.

He took plenty of shots at Birdman on the mixtape, MTV News reports, including lines like “Did my time in Cash Money, time served and released/ but this agent ain’t free, word, that’s the word on these streets” and “The garden’s full of snakes so I had to escape.”

In the first song, “Coco,” he even disses Birdman by rapping “Birdman Jr? More like Ugly Duckling.” On “U Guessed It” he says, “I couldn’t be Jr. for ever. I don’t mean to ruffle your feathers/ But I had to spread my wings, ain’t trying to get lemon peppered.”
