Madonna already knows how to get under people’s skin and she’s done it again with art for her new album, Rebel Heart. She posted a series of images on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, comparing herself to Martin Luther King Jr., Nelson Mandela and Bob Marley.

On New Year’s Day, Madonna appeared to predict that some fans would complain about the art, so she posted a meme that reads, “Dear Haters, I have so much MORE for you to be MAD at... Be patient!”

Today, she first posted an image of King, with the message, “This #rebelheart had a dream!” The caption for the Mandela image read, “This #rebelheart fought for freedom!” For Marley, she wrote, “This #rebelheart sang about ONE LOVE!” Each piece of art took an iconic image of each figure and put wire around their faces.

Madonna’s last images shows a mirror image of herself under the worlds “Living for Love,” the name of the lead single. The caption for that one reads, “Shabbat Shalom from this #rebelheart.”

Previous posts with similar art have featured a statue of Jesus Christ and Marilyn Monroe.

Madonna’s Rebel Heart album has already been plagued with one big issue: leaks. After a group of demos surfaced in November, 14 more songs surfaced on Christmas Eve. The leaks forced her to release six tracks early on iTunes.
