Nicki Minaj has been announced as the headliner for this year's X Games in Austin, TX. “I look forward to channeling the energy and spirit from the X Games into a performance Austin will not forget,” Minaj said in a statement to The Wrap.

Joining the hip-hop artist will be the likes of Talib Kweli, Pennywise, and Deltron 3030, performing on a smaller stage for the summer showcase according to the X Games official web site.

Last year's X Games featured performances from Kanye West, The Flaming Lips, and Pretty Lights among others. Along with Minaj, more headliners are expected to be announced within the coming months. “Having Nicki Minaj headline one of the nights of X Games Austin is going to be really fun,” said Tim Reed vice president, X Games. “We still have other headliners to announce in the upcoming months but the mix of Nicki Minaj with world-class athletes will make for a must attend event in Austin.”

The X Games will take place June 4-7, tickets go on sale Jan. 23.
