Have you ever wondered when you were going to see red Oreos? Well, that time is now. Nabisco announced today that it is releasing Red Velvet Oreos, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

The limited edition variety will feature cream cheese flavored filling between the two red cookies. Nabisco is also launching a contest to pick the first 20,250 people who will get to try the flavor.

“It's something that's classic, but I think what people have done in the last several years is reinterpret it,” Janda Lukin, senior director of Oreo North America, told the Chicago Tribune. Lukin added that the company started dreaming up the Red Velvet Oreo’s 12 months ago.

The Red Velvet Oreo’s will hit store shelves on Feb. 2 and will likely be in stores for six to eight weeks. They will have the same retail price as a pack of regular Oreo’s, but will have four less cookies.

In case you are wondering, Oreo has tried different colored-cookies before. In 2004, they launched the Golden Oreo. In January 2014, the company released two new flavors, Cookie Dough and Marshmallow Crisp.
