After teasers for a teaser, Marvel showed off a longer teaser for Ant-Man during last night’s two-hour premiere of Agent Carter.
The two-minute teaser includes the shots shown in the super short teaser from over the weekend, but definitely expands on those scenes.
Paul Rudd stars as Scott Lang, who starts off as a criminal. Scientist Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) sees potential in him for whatever reason, so he decides to give Scott the Ant-Man technology. Scott likes the idea, but he was hoping for a better superhero name.
We do get to see Ant-Man shrink to the size of an insect and hitches a ride on a fly. Clearly, there is another threat to humanity in the film, since Hank tries to sell Scott on the idea of Ant-Man as a way to help his daughter survive.
Evangeline Lilly co-stars as Hope Van Dyne and Corey Stoll is the villain Yellowjacket. Peyton Reed directed the film, which opens on July 17.
