Sam Smith is such a big fan of Beyonce that he joked if he wins the Grammy for Album of the Year he would give it away to Queen Bey.
Smith is nominated for his debut album In The Lonely Hour and Beyonce is up for her self-titled surprise album.
He told Rolling Stone of the possibility of winning, "She deserves it way more than I do.”
Smith added, “I'd be embarrassed if I got it over her. If I got it, I'd give it to her."
He’s tied with the “Drunk in Love” singer for six Grammy nominations each, including being nominated for Song of the Year for “Stay With Me.”
The song has made headlines this week for Tom Petty getting awarded a song credit on it for being close to his 1989 hit “Won’t Back Down.”
Petty called it a “musical accident no more no less” in a statement.
The Grammys will take place on Feb. 8.
