Actor, comedian, producer, director and writer Steve Carell gained fame after appearing on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart from 1999 to 2005. Carell went on to star in the NBC American version of The Office for six years, earning a Golden Globe for his role.
Carell went on to have lead roles in the comedies The 40-Year-Old Version, Dinner for Schmucks, Evan Almighty, Date Night and Get Smart. He has also played more serious roles in films including Little Miss Sunshine, Dan in Real Life and The Way Way Back. Carell also had voice roles in Over the Hedge, Horton Hears a Who! and Despicable Me and its sequel.
Carell most recently starred in the Bennett Miller film, Foxcatcher, based on true events. Carell earned a Golden Globe nomination and is currently nominated for a Screen Actors Guild award, a BAFTA Award and an Academy Award for Best Actor.
The SAG Awards will air Sunday, January 25 on TNT and TBS at 8 pm.

They must work together to find a safe place for the town while trying to convince the other animals of Horton's sanity.

9. Get Smart
Get Smart is a film based on based on Mel Brooks and Buck Henry's 1960s spy parody television series of the same name. Carell stars as Maxwell "Max" Smart, an analyst who wants to become a better spy and a real field agent. He gets the chance after receiving the assignment to prevent a terrorist attack from a Russian spy agency.
The film received positive reviews from critics and was cited as a “pleasant surprise.” Carell's role was praised for its charming and comedic appeal. Carell also served as executive producer.
