With another storm forecast to hit New England this week, areas in and around Boston are actually running out of places to put the white stuff.

CBS News has reported that parts of the Northeast are expected to get another round of snowfall and by Tuesday, Boston could see another two feet of snow.

The main problem is that it hasn’t been quite warm enough in New England for the snow already left on the ground from the last two storms to melt. So with more expected, many areas in the region are simply running out of places to put it.

Just how much snow have crews in New England removed off the roadways in the past two weeks? Well as the Associated Press noted, Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker said enough snow was cleared off the roads there to fill Gillette Stadium where the Patriots play, about 90 times.

Now, while plows are faced with still trying to clear out the old mess, another storm is fast approaching and the city of Boston has already spent its $18 million snow-removal budget.

Another problem, at least for schoolchildren in the area, is that schools are closed again today, but that means classes could stretch into the summer so they can make up the time.
