Brad Pitt is finally going to get to work with Oscar winner Robert Zemeckis. He will star in an untitled romantic thriller the Forrest Gump director plans on making at Paramount.

Paramount and New Regency made the announcement on Friday, confirms The Hollywood Reporter. The script was written by Steven Knight and, other than the film’s genre, nothing else is known about it.

According to Variety, Graham King’s GK Films is producing with New Regency. The executive producers include Knight, Jack Rapke, Patrick McCormick and Denis O’Sullivan. Individual producers include Zemeckis, King and Steve Starkey.

Pitt was recently seen in Fury and just completed Angelina Jolie’s By The Sea, which is also starring his wife. He will also star in Jolie’s next directing effort, Africa.

As for Zemeckis, he made a successful return to live action filmmaking in 2012 with Flight following his failed motion capture experiments. He is currently finishing up The Walk with Joseph Gordon-Levitt. That movie hits theaters in October.

Knight’s writing credits include Eastern Promises, Locke, The Hundred-Foot Journey and Pitt’s upcoming World War Z sequel.
