Hot off of a Best Actor nominee for American Sniper, which recently surpassed the box office grosses of his previous hit The Hangover, Bradley Cooper is taking on a decidedly lighter topic.
He's starring in Aloha, the next feature from Cameron Crowe (Jerry Maguire, Almost Famous), which just dropped its first trailer. The film is a comedy-drama about a disgraced military contractor who ventures to Hawaii to oversee a new satellite launch. Along the way, he reconnects with an old flame (Rachel McAdams) while simultaneously striking up a relationship with a tough Air Force liaison (Emma Stone).
The cast also includes Danny McBride (This Is The End), John Krasinski (The Office), Alec Baldwin and Bill Murray. Crowe's film, which went through several possible titles including Deep Tiki before settling on Aloha, also boasts a tropical Hawaii setting. It was originally set for release in Christmas 2014 before being pushed back.
Aloha hits theaters on May 29.
